Pro tip: A shop vac and a spray bottle changed my fade game
I always struggled with stray hairs sticking to the back of a client's neck after a fade. No matter how much I brushed or used a neck duster, there were always a few hairs left behind. This week I tried something simple, I sprayed the neck area with a little water from a spray bottle first, then used the shop vac on low suction to pull the hair away. It worked way better than I thought, the moisture weighed down the loose hairs so the vacuum could grab them all at once. I did this on four clients yesterday and not one of them left with hair stuck to their collar. Has anyone else used water and suction together like this, or do you have a better trick for keeping the neck clean?
