My 2006 flip phone ringtone took me 3 nights to bring back

Last week I dug out my old Samsung from a drawer, dead battery and all. After a full day charging it, I discovered the custom ringtone I made in 2006 was gone, wiped by a factory reset I forgot about. I spent about 9 total hours across 3 nights messing with MIDI files and a weird USB cable just to recreate it on my current phone. Turns out the song was just a chopped snippet of a PS2 menu track, and I found it on a fan forum from 2011. Now I rock that same 8-bit loop for calls, and honestly it's cleaner than any ringtone app. Anyone else resurrected some ancient sound or app just for the nostalgia?

Rant: Did I waste 2 years using WinRAR wrong? Or is it better that way?

I ALWAYS used WinRAR to extract files by dragging them to a folder. Then last week a friend saw me do it and said that's the slow way, you should right-click and extract here. Now I'm wondering if I've been doing it dumb this whole time, but dragging just feels more controlled. Which method do you guys actually use?
