The argument over cleaning mouse pads with soap vs just water
Honestly, I had my Artisan Hien for about 8 months and it got this gross oily spot right where my wrist sits. I tried wiping it with just a damp cloth, no luck. So I used a tiny drop of dish soap and a soft sponge, and it cleaned right up. But my buddy Cole swears that soap ruins the surface texture over time and says you should only use warm water and air dry. I get his point, soap might strip some coating, but plain water didn't do anything. My Hien still feels fine a month later, no peeling or rough spots. What do you all think, has anyone had a pad get wrecked from using soap?
