I used to be a microwave-only kinda person for pizza rolls, mostly because I'm lazy at 2am. But last Thursday around midnight I finally tried tossing a batch in my air fryer at 400 for 6 minutes. The texture difference is wild - the microwave ones get all soggy and the cheese leaks out way too fast. Air fryer gives them that crispy outside and the inside stays molten hot for way longer. Now I can't go back to microwave unless I'm desperate and half asleep. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed the same thing?
I was having the worst week after my car broke down on Monday in Phoenix, so I grabbed a bag of those spicy Thai chile lime cashews and a blue Powerade to cheer myself up. Dude, I took one bite and realized I've been sleeping on these cashews for like 10 years. Has anyone else had a random gas station snack completely turn a bad day around?
Grabbed a roller dog from the 7-Eleven on Elm Street around 2am, took one bite and the casing split shooting chili all over my shirt and the store floor. The clerk started yelling about cleaning up the mess while I stood there dripping chili sauce like an idiot. Do you bail and leave the mess or try to clean it up while the guy is still yelling at you?
I was starving after closing out the books late and that little plastic tray of spicy tuna rolls looked way too good at the time. Has anyone else taken a gamble on convenience store sushi and come out either alive or absolutely wrecked?
