Compared old CRT monitor against a modern LCD for retro gaming last night
The LCD had zero lag but everything looked like plastic, while the CRT made Mega Man X feel like it did in 94. Has anyone else switched back to a bulky screen just for nostalgia accuracy?

Dude the "everything looks like plastic" thing is so real. I hooked up my old SNES to a flat screen and Mario's colors looked off like it was a mobile game or something. Dug my old Sony Trinitron out of the garage and it's basically a shrine now, totally worth the back pain moving it.
