Tried to get a nice Christmas card photo of my cat. Got 47 blurry demon shots instead.
I wanted one decent picture for holiday cards. Set up the lights and everything. My cat decided to attack the string lights on the backdrop. Out of 56 photos, 47 were just a blurry orange streak. 9 were close ups of his nose or ear. I found one that's mostly in focus but he's mid-sneeze. Who else just gives up and uses last year's photo?

Honestly, I feel your pain with that "blurry orange streak" description. A buddy of mine tried to get a nice photo of his black cat by a window and ended up with 60 pictures that all looked like a shadow with glowing eyes. He just printed last year's photo and called it a win.

Dylan413 is spot on about the black cat thing. My neighbor has one of those and every time she tries to snap a picture it just looks like a void with teeth. She gave up and now just posts the same blurry photo from 2019 over and over. Funny how we all end up recycling the one decent shot we managed to get by accident. The orange streak at least might be easier to capture if it slows down for a second, but cats never cooperate when you want them to.
