PSA: The "treat above the camera" trick ruined every single photo I took of my dog
Everyone says hold a treat right above your phone lens. I tried that for 20 minutes last Saturday with my beagle. All I got was 50 shots of her nose filling the frame and one blur where she jumped at the camera. Solved the problem by putting a squeaky toy on the floor behind my feet instead. She looked at me with this confused side-eye and I got three perfect portraits in a row. Has anyone else found a better trick than the treat thing?

The treat trick works perfectly if your dog actually knows what "wait" means first.
