My brother told me to hold the phone steady for cat photos... then my cat sneezed mid-shot
So my older brother is always giving me photography tips, right? He said "just brace your elbow on something and wait for the perfect moment." I'm like okay sure. I'm crouched down in my kitchen holding my phone real steady, my cat Luna is sitting there looking all cute. Then out of nowhere she lets out this huge sneeze and her whole face just... scrunches up and blurs. The photo looks like a furry alien with no nose. I showed it to my brother and he just laughed and said "well, you held it steady." Has anyone else gotten a pet photo that is just completely ruined by a random sneeze or yawn?

Ruined is a strong word. Sounds like you got a perfectly good action shot of a cat being a cat. My dog yawned right as I was trying to get a nice Christmas card photo and his tongue looks like a giant pink slug hanging out. I actually ended up printing that one because it's way more memorable than the boring one with his mouth closed.
