Watched that new Netflix action flick 'Apex Assault' last night, had to shut it off 20 minutes in.
The CGI looked like a PlayStation 2 cutscene from 2003. Has anyone found a decent action movie this week that doesn't look like a cartoon?

Oh man, that movie was a total trainwreck from the start. The opening scene with the car chase looked like someone just learned how to use green screen for the first time. Caught the last John Wick movie on cable last week and even that one had some choppy CGI in the fight scenes. Actually stumbled onto 'The Cleaner' on Prime this weekend, it's a low budget indie action flick that mostly uses real stunts and practical effects. No fancy explosions but the hand to hand stuff felt gritty and real. Anyone got any other hidden gems like that?
