That highly rated indie film everyone raves about was a total snooze fest
Watched 'Past Lives' last night after seeing it on every top 10 list and I nearly fell asleep 45 minutes in. The whole middle act is just two people staring at each other in a bar with zero dialogue for like 15 minutes. Anyone else find this one massively overhyped or am I missing something?

Wait, which movie are you even talking about here? Because there's about six or seven that came out in the last few years that could fit that description. The last one I sat through felt like watching paint dry in slow motion, and I kept checking my phone every ten minutes. Did they at least have a decent action scene or was it just people staring at each other dramatically the whole time?
