Overheard a client say they track conversions with a whiteboard and a sharpie

I was at a co-working space last week and heard some small biz owner bragging to his buddy that he just writes down every sale on a whiteboard instead of using any analytics tool. Dude was dead serious about it too. Has anyone else run into clients who refuse to use basic tracking software even when you show them the numbers?

Write that down on his whiteboard next to his conversion rate from 2017. Maybe throw in a bar graph drawn in blue sharpie for fun.
