I was trying to grow more spider plants from the little offshoots. On a whim, I dipped the cut ends in plain cinnamon from my spice rack (you know, the cheap stuff). It stopped them from getting mushy and they put out roots super fast. Now I have a whole new batch of plants starting (all from one parent plant). It's a neat trick if you're into making more plants for free.
I was checking my snake plant and saw this fluffy white stuff at the bottom. It looks like mold or maybe some kind of fungus. I have no clue what caused it or if it's dangerous. Can anyone help me figure out what to do next? I really don't want it to kill my plant or spread around.
