My coworking space WiFi failed during a client call in Bali last month
I was at a coworking spot in Canggu called Dojo and right in the middle of a video call with a client in Chicago, the internet just dropped completely. I panicked for about 30 seconds, then grabbed my laptop and ran to a cafe down the street that had a backup Starlink connection. I managed to reconnect within 5 minutes and the client never even noticed - has anyone else had to scramble like that mid-call?

Wait, Dojo's wifi actually failed? That place is supposed to be bulletproof.

Oh man, I had the same thing happen at a coworking spot last month... I ended up just tethering off my phone and it got me through the day.

Man, that panic mode is real. Had almost the same thing happen at a coworking spot in Memphis last spring - whole building lost power for like 15 minutes and there I was trying to close a deal on Zoom. Grabbed everything and ran to a Starbucks parking lot, used my phone hotspot sitting in my truck. Client never knew either, but my heart was pounding the whole time. That backup plan feeling is the best.
