Just realized booking 3 months at once on Airbnb actually costs less than monthly hopping
I was spending $200 extra every month bouncing between weekly stays in Chiang Mai until I locked in a single place for 90 days and got a 30% discount, has anyone else found better deals by booking longer blocks?

Jumping on this because I noticed the same thing with my gym membership. I was paying month to month for like 6 months and then finally locked in a year plan and it's half the price. It's kinda crazy how much we get charged just for being flexible or not committing. Same with phone plans too - prepaid always costs more than a contract even though you'd think it'd be the other way around. Feels like the whole system is set up to punish you for wanting to keep your options open.

Wait prepaid isn't cheaper, it's usually the other way around where contract locks you in for less.

That "punished for flexibility" thing is basically how everything works now. Phone plans, gym memberships, even streaming services give you a worse deal if you don't commit long term. It's like the whole economy is designed to make you feel dumb for wanting to keep your options open.
