Just hit 100 flights logged in my travel app and it's a wake-up call

I was checking my stats in TripIt and saw the number 100. That's 100 separate flights since I started this nomad life three years ago. It hit me hard because I never planned to be on a plane that much. The carbon footprint alone is huge, and honestly, I'm just tired. It made me realize I've been chasing cheap deals instead of staying put longer. I need to slow down and pick a base for a few months at a time. How do you all balance seeing new places with not burning out from constant travel?

Yeah I read a blog post that said slow travel feels way better than fast miles.

Pick a city you love and just stay there for a whole season, it's a game changer.

Wait, you've been doing that for three whole years? That's a crazy pace to keep up, no wonder you're fried. Picking a home base for a few months sounds like the perfect way to actually enjoy the places you go.
