I finally learned the hard way about coworking space day passes in Bali

I paid $25 for a day pass at a place in Canggu last month, thinking it would be a solid spot to work. The internet dropped out four times before lunch, and the 'free coffee' was just instant packets. I basically burned that cash for a stressful day at a noisy cafe table. Has anyone found a reliable spot there that doesn't cost a fortune?

Yeah, the "free coffee" being instant is a classic bait and switch. That whole situation sounds like a total scam for twenty five bucks. I got burned at a place in Seminyak with the same internet issues. Try the spot near the old market, their day rate is lower and the connection actually works.

It's just coffee and wifi, not a life changing event. Paying twenty five bucks for a bad day isn't the end of the world. People get too worked up over small stuff like this. You just find a new spot tomorrow and move on. Making a big deal out of it seems like a waste of energy lol.

Twenty five dollars is a lot of money for most folks to just throw away on a bad experience. It adds up, especially if you're traveling or working on a budget. Calling it a small thing ignores how frustrating it is to be misled and waste your time. Why should people just accept getting ripped off? Moving on doesn't fix the problem for the next person.
