Found a simple WiFi trick that saved my remote work setup in Mexico

I was constantly dropping calls while working from a cafe in Playa del Carmen, and my hotspot kept overheating after 2 hours. Turns out switching my phone to 4G only instead of 5G made the connection way more stable, no more random disconnects in the middle of client meetings. Anybody else running into 5G issues in tourist hotspots?

Huh, were you on 5G the whole time or did it auto-connect?

Did @spencerl32 know my friend's phone randomly hopped off WiFi and onto 5G mid-call?
