Back in the day, my boss needed to see me at my desk to know I was working.

These days, my results speak louder than my location.

Exactly! I see this all the time now. Back when I worked in an office, they'd freak out if you were five minutes late. But now with my driving, as long as the loads get there on time, nobody cares where I am. It's so much better focusing on what actually gets done. I remember bosses watching the clock, now they just check the tracking numbers.

Setting clear check-ins was a game changer for me. Instead of a boss hovering, we agreed on two quick updates a day, like a morning plan and an end-of-day summary. It showed I was on track without needing to be watched. That built way more trust than just being in a chair for eight hours. The work spoke for itself once we had those small, regular touchpoints.

Totally! It's like now we trust people to get stuff done instead of just watching them. I see this even with how parents track kids' homework online instead of checking if they're at their desk.
