Sub in Spokane told me to stop bidding jobs under $800, and I'm not sure if he's right
I was talking with a sub I use a lot out in Spokane last week about small jobs. He said he quit taking anything under $800 about 2 years ago and his callbacks dropped to almost nothing. His point was that small jobs eat the same drive time, same setup, same billing headache as a $4,000 job. I wrote down my numbers after and he might have a point. My last 6 jobs under $800 came to about $340 in fuel and parts alone. Now I'm wondering if I should set a minimum, but I worry about losing the referral chain from small stuff. How do you all handle the small job question?
