Spent $300 on a thermal camera rental and it paid for itself in one afternoon
Had a client in Tacoma swear there was a cold draft from somewhere in their addition. Rented a thermal camera from the local tool place for $300 for the day, found two missing insulation bats and a gap around the window in 20 minutes. Has anyone else found rentals worth the cost over just guessing with a candle or wet hand?
Rented one for $200 when a homeowner in Puyallup kept complaining about a cold spot near the stairs. Turned out to be a missing piece of insulation behind the knee wall and I never would have caught it poking around with my hand.
