Called in a favor to borrow a laser level from a guy I met on a job in Austin and the thing saved me like 3 hours of fussing with bubble levels on crown molding.

Why do so many guys still rely on those old bullshit torpedo levels when a cheap self leveling laser can point out your mistakes in 2 seconds, and has anyone else noticed how common it is to see crooked trim work even in 'high end' remodels?

Stick a cheap laser on a door frame and watch how fast the bubble level guys get quiet.

Same guy who bought a $600 hammer and still can't hit a nail straight, know what I mean? My buddy Doug swears by his grandpa's old brass level and I caught him last weekend trying to shim a door with a Cheez-It box.
