Old timer at the shop on 5th said my grinder was running too warm, now I temp it every batch
He put a hand on the housing and said "that's hotter than it should be, son" and it turned out my blade was dull and I was pushing too hard. Now I swap blades every 40 lbs instead of waiting till it felt slow. Anyone else keep a thermometer on their grinder or am I overthinking it?
