Dropped my old bone saw method for a bandsaw and I'm kicking myself
I used to break down deer quarters with a handsaw, taking 20 minutes a side and fighting through knuckles and bone chips for 15 years. Last month I finally bought a small A bandsaw from a closing shop and now I'm through a whole hind in 4 minutes clean. Why did I wait so long and is anyone else still stuck on old gear out of habit?

Fighting through knuckles and bone chips" hits so close to home. I did the same thing with a hacksaw for way too long, switched to a bandsaw last year and felt like an idiot for all those wasted hours.

How did you finally convince yourself to buy the bandsaw after 15 years of hating life?
