Went to the new Aldi in Springfield and their produce section blew my mind
I stopped by the Aldi that just opened near my place last week, mostly to grab some basics. Their whole produce wall had these huge bags of bell peppers, like 6 peppers, for only $2.99. I got a bag and a cheap pack of rice, made stuffed peppers for dinner that fed me for three nights. Has anyone else found a store with crazy good deals on fresh stuff lately?

Oh man, you gotta check the ethnic markets too! The one by me has ginger for like a quarter of the supermarket price, it's WILD.

A quarter? That's insane.

The ginger at my local H Mart is usually $1.29 a pound compared to $4.99 at the regular grocery store. It's honestly worth the extra trip to stock up and freeze what you don't use. @nathan_barnes I'd also check if there's a Mexican or Asian market near you, they usually have better prices on garlic and turmeric too. I've been doing this for years and my wallet thanks me every time.
