My aunt's one-word critique fixed my entire meal prep system
I used to batch cook on Sundays and portion everything into identical containers. My aunt watched me do it once and just said 'boring.' That got me thinking, so I switched to prepping ingredients instead of full meals. Now I cook one protein and two veggies, plus a grain, and mix them differently each day. It costs about $38 a week still, but I actually look forward to eating instead of forcing the same chili for 5 days straight. Has anyone else switched from full meal prep to component prep, and did it help with food fatigue?

$38 a week and food fatigue" sounds like you're doing fine either way honestly. Not sure one word from your aunt needed to turn into a whole system overhaul.
