Just realized everyone at work is bringing leftovers for lunch now

It started with me and now half the office does it to save money.

The sandwich shop by my work is pretty empty at noon now. Buying lunch sometimes helps keep those places open and mixes up your diet. @blairwhite, I get saving money, but we lose a bit of local flavor too.

Honestly that "half the office does it" thing is so real. I've been bringing my dinner leftovers for years, it just makes sense. Tbh I barely remember how to buy lunch anymore.

Totally get what blairwhite said about forgetting how to buy lunch. I hit that point a few months ago. My fridge is full of containers now and my weekly food budget is way lower. It feels like a small win every day I don't spend fifteen bucks on a salad. The routine just becomes normal after a while.
