Vent: bought a $12 neck strip roll off a tip from a guy in Dallas and my fades got cleaner
A barber I met at a shop in Dallas kept pushing me to try those paper neck strips instead of the cloth towel I had used for 6 years. I figured it was just hype and the paper ones would slip or feel cheap on clients. I grabbed a 500 count roll for $12 just to shut him up and tested it on 3 guys that same afternoon. The strips held tight through two hot towel passes and the clipper work stayed way cleaner around the hairline. My cleanup time dropped by maybe 4 minutes per cut because I wasn't fighting loose hairs down the collar. Anyone else switch over from cloth towels, and did you run into any grip issues on longer fades?
