Unpopular opinion: I miss the old hot towel warmer at my first shop
When I started cutting in 2009 at a shop in Bakersfield, we had this old metal towel cabinet that took 20 minutes to heat up and smelled like burnt cotton. Now I just run a spray bottle of warm water and a clean towel, done in 30 seconds. The steam cabinet gave a better shave but nobody wants to wait that long anymore, and honestly the clients stopped asking for it around 2016. Any of you still keep a hot towel setup going, or did you all switch to the quick spray method like me?
