PSA: Tried a new shear oil and it gunked up my blades in two days
I switched to a 'heavy duty' oil from a new brand and it left a sticky residue that made my cuts drag. I had to clean everything with rubbing alcohol to get it off. Has anyone found a good oil that stays slick without the buildup?

Ugh, that's the worst. It feels like everything is like that now, doesn't it? You buy something that's supposed to be an upgrade, but it just makes more work for you. My bike chain lube did the exact same sticky thing last month.
