PSA: cutting a walk-in at 6:55 on a Saturday cost me a regular
Last Saturday at my shop on 8th Street a guy sat down at 6:55, 5 minutes before close, and I took him. Big mistake. My clipper hand was done for the day and I rushed the fade on his right side, took too much off above the ear. He said it looked fine, paid, and I did not see him again for 3 weeks. When he came back he asked for the other barber. I should have said come back Tuesday, no charge. Now the last cut is 30 minutes before close, no exceptions. What do you all do when someone walks in 5 minutes before you lock the door?
