Picked up a tip for beard trimming from a colleague
I was having a hard time with beard details. Another barber saw me and suggested a new grip. Holding the trimmer at a slight angle changed everything. My lines are cleaner now. I'm sharing this because it might help others.
Did you skip the mirror check? I always section it off with clips first so I don't get lost, or the whole back ends up crooked. Those hats come in handy for more than just bad weather.
How do you figure out where to put the clips for the back sections? Every time I try, I miss a huge chunk of hair or section it unevenly. My layers never match up because I can't see what I'm doing back there. Kim's story about the hat month is way too real.
