Overheard a kid at the shop say clippers are outdated

I was cleaning my station yesterday and this younger barber was telling his friend how cordless trimmers are all you really need now, no need for clippers at all. It caught me off guard because I started out using Oster 76s that weighed a ton and sounded like a lawnmower. Any other old school guys feel like the basics are getting forgotten?

That younger crowd doesn't realize cordless stuff loses charge at the worst times. Plus, nothing beats a good clipper for taking down bulk fast without burning through battery life.
