Just tried a new way to hold my clippers for fades

I used to hold my clippers with a tight grip, thinking it gave me more control. Last week, I saw a video where the barber held them much looser, almost letting them rest in his hand. I tried it on my next three fades and the lines came out way smoother, with less strain on my wrist. Has anyone else made a small change to their grip that made a big difference?

Remember my buddy who always had a death grip on his club? He finally tried going loose last week and shaved five strokes off his game. Couldn't believe it.

Depends on the player though. Some guys need that firm control to keep the clubface square. Tried the super loose thing and sprayed it everywhere for a week.
