Bought a $60 magnetic tool strip for my station and it's a game changer.
No more digging for shears or clippers in a drawer, everything is right there and stays put. My old setup wasted so much time, but this simple fix cut my search time in half. Anyone have other small upgrades that made a big difference in your daily flow?

Seriously? That's just a fancy way to lose your tools to the floor.

Nah, Perry's got a point. The good ones really do hold on tight. I've seen it work fine in a busy shop.

Actually, a good magnetic strip holds tools surprisingly well. I've had one in my garage for three years with heavy wrenches on it. The key is getting a strip with a strong, rubber-coated magnet. The cheap, thin ones from the bargain bin will absolutely drop things, but a quality strip rated for a certain weight won't let go unless you bump it really hard. It's one of those things where the product quality makes all the difference.
