A regular at my shop in Toledo brought me his son's first haircut photo
This older guy named Ray has been sitting in my chair every 3 weeks for about 2 years, mostly just quiet, talks about his truck sometimes. Two weeks ago he pulled out his wallet and handed me a faded pic of his son's first cut from 1991, done at a shop that used to be down on Adams Street, said his kid just became a dad himself. He asked me to do the new baby's first cut when the time comes. That one hit me harder than any tip I've gotten. Any of you ever had a family stick with you across generations like that?
