The day my sourdough starter tried to redecorate my kitchen

I left my 3 month old starter, 'Bubbles', on the counter overnight in a jar I thought was big enough. Woke up to find it had blown the lid off and painted my white cabinets with a lovely, sticky, beige abstract art piece. What's the most explosive baking fail you've ever cleaned up?

Abstract art piece" is a nice way to put it. Sounds like Bubbles just wanted to help with the remodel.

You know, I used to get so mad when my cat would scratch the new couch. But seeing it as her own little art project, like @wood.paige said about how they show love, totally flipped a switch for me. Now I look at those claw marks on the arm and just see her signature. It's like she was customizing it, making it ours instead of just some store-bought thing. Bubbles was probably doing the same, adding some personal flair to the walls.
