Why does nobody tell you a $30 magnetic socket set is the best money you will spend
Last Friday I was doing a starter on a 2011 F-150 in my driveway in Fort Wayne and kept losing the 13mm down in the frame rail. My neighbor, who has been turning wrenches for 25 years, handed me his magnetic socket set and I had the thing out in 10 minutes instead of the usual 30. I went and bought my own set for $30 at the parts store the next day and it has already saved me from dropping bolts into the bell housing twice. For a shop towel budget price it beats any fancy tool I have bought this year. What small cheap tool did you put off buying way too long?

Magnetic sockets are just training wheels for bolts, but nice ones.
