My shop's ancient parts washer versus the new parts cleaning gun we got
The old tank took 45 minutes to heat up and left a greasy film on everything. The new gun sprays solvent at 800 PSI and cleaned a set of cylinder heads in under ten minutes. Anyone else switch to a cleaning gun and never look back?

That's how it goes with old gear. Everything's a slow bake until you find the right tool. Feels good to skip the wait.

Switched to a pressure washer for cleaning lawnmower decks and it was a game changer too. Old spray nozzle took 20 minutes per mower and still left caked on grass. New one blasts it off in 5 minutes flat, even gets the dried on mud that used to chip paint off. Thought I was gonna hate the hose management but honestly it's worth it. Just have to watch you don't spray yourself in the face when you hit a jam.
