I thought flushing brake fluid every 2 years was a scam until I saw the moisture test at my shop in Dayton
I always figured the 2 year brake fluid flush was just a way for shops to pad the ticket, so I ran the same fluid in my truck for 6 years and never had a problem. Last month a rep came by our shop in Dayton with one of those electronic testers and mine pegged at 4 percent water, which is way past the 2 percent replace point. Anyone else actually test their fluid with a gauge instead of going by the calendar?
