I finally caved and bought that fancy diagnostic scanner for my shop
Dropped over two grand on it, thinking it would save us hours. Turns out, the cheaper one we already had reads the same codes just as fast. Anyone have a good use for a very expensive paperweight?

Oh man, telling me it's the worst feeling is like giving me a personal challenge. I could write a whole book on that topic, honestly. My life is basically a series of those moments strung together. I've turned that feeling into my own personal brand of comedy at this point.

Funny you say that, but I gotta push back a little. In my experience, leaning too hard into that kind of comedy can actually make the feeling worse over time. It's like you're coating everything in a joke to protect yourself, but the stuff underneath doesn't really go away, you know? Your mileage may vary, of course, but I've seen friends who turned their life into a bit end up feeling pretty hollow when the laughter stops. Take this with a grain of salt, but sometimes sitting with the bad stuff and not dressing it up can be a healthier route.
