Appreciation post: that 'simple' vacuum line job that took 4 hours

I was sure replacing a cracked PCV hose on a 2012 Civic would be a 30 minute job, tops. Spent 4 hours because the clamp was rusted solid and hidden behind the intake manifold (I had to remove it). Anyone have a go-to trick for those hidden, seized clamps besides just cursing a lot?

Heard a trick about using a small hose clamp plier for those, but I feel you and @julia_burns9 on the struggle.
