Did gravity bleeding actually work for you or did you have to pump the pedal a bunch?

On a Tundra forum I read, a guy said it took like 2 full bottles of fluid and a whole afternoon to get a good pedal with gravity bleeding alone. For me, @price.tyler, I did it on a 90s Ford and had to bump the pedal maybe 3 times after each corner to push the last bubbles out. Your mileage may vary, but I think a vacuum bleeder is way faster if you do brakes a lot.
