Not convinced cork blocks are the eco-friendly choice everyone says
Idk, I've had mine wear out way faster than my old foam ones. Maybe keeping and reusing what you already own is actually better for the planet.

Honestly, I saw something about this too. I read a blog post that broke down how cork is gathered, and it's not always eco-friendly if it's done wrong. They said some cork comes from places that take too much, which hurts the trees and makes the blocks wear out quick. So yeah, keeping your old stuff might actually be the best choice for the earth.

What about how cork blocks are disposed of after use? In my experience, if they're sealed with plastic, they often can't be recycled or composted properly. I read that treated cork might sit in landfills for years without breaking down, which adds to waste problems. So even with good harvesting, the end result might not be so green.
