Spent all week taming a tangled hank of alpaca yarn, only to have my cat eat the finished scarf.

I got this gorgeous hand-dyed alpaca from a swap last month, and it took me 4 days just to untangle it without snapping it. Finally knitted a decent scarf, felt pretty good, left it on the couch for five minutes. Came back to my cat puking up a yard of fuzz and the scarf looking like a moth exploded on it. Anyone else’s pets got a thing for wrecking your best projects?

Tried washing it but honestly it just turned into a wet lump of regret. Ngl my cat now has a fancy alpaca furball and I have a sad pile of fluff.

Did you try to wash the puke out or just cut your losses and toss the whole thing?
