Found a copy of The Brave Little Toaster at Goodwill for $0.50 and it had a hand written note inside from 1994

I was in the bargain bin last Tuesday (you know the one, stuffed between a broken VCR and a furby) and spotted a clamshell case with that classic Disney black cover. The tape itself was fine, but someone had taped a little note inside that said "Happy birthday Timmy, hope you still like this movie - Mom." It got me thinking about how we used to pass tapes around as gifts back then, and now I just buy everything on streaming without a second thought. Has anyone else found something personal tucked inside a thrift store tape?

Did you keep the note in the case? I run into stuff like that sometimes at estate sales too. There was this beat up copy of The Land Before Time I found with a little drawing on the insert, some kid must have done it with crayons. Makes you wonder if the original owner ever found out where their old stuff ended up. I always leave things like that exactly as I found them.

("leave things exactly as I found them") Nah, junk is junk, not a museum piece.
