Switched from buying used phones based on pics alone to asking for a video of the screen brightness turned all the way down

Used to get burned by dead pixels I couldn't see in photos, but this one seller sent me a video of a dimmed screen at low brightness and it showed a big line of stuck pixels I would've missed, do you guys ask for specific video angles too?

Ask them to film it in a dark room with the brightness at like 5%. Then ask for a second video at max brightness. You get one showing dead pixels and one showing burn-in. Next they'll be sending you a full cinematic production with dramatic lighting and a slow pan across the screen. Honestly I'm half tempted to demand a video of the phone playing a green screen test pattern next. It's getting ridiculous but hey, beats losing $200 on a dud.

Do you have them turn it down to minimum brightness or just a little dim?
