Thought those towel animal tutorials were pointless until I tried one for a gift swap
Buddy's white elephant party. $10 limit. I was stuck. Saw a youtube video on folding a towel into a elephant. Figured why not. Spent 20 minutes on it. Looked janky at first. But I tucked the trunk just right. Ended up being the most fought over gift at the party. Someone traded a beer koozie for it. Who knew.

This whole thing proves that people are starving for stuff that actually shows you gave a damn. Everyone buys a mug or a candle and calls it a day, but the second you put real effort into something weird like folding a towel, it turns into a trophy. That's why handmade stuff always wins even when it's janky.
