The konmari fold for towels actually saves me time now

I always thought the whole standing-up-towel fold was just for looks, something fancy for hotel bathrooms. But last month my wife bought a set of those thin Turkish towels and I had to find a way to fit 8 of them in a small linen closet. After watching a 4 minute video on YouTube from some lady in Oregon, I tried it. Having them all stand up vertically in a drawer means I can actually grab one without messing up the whole pile. Has the konmari method saved anyone else closet space or is it just me?

Laughing at the "lady in Oregon" part because I swear I watched the same video. That lady is a genius though because my linen closet used to look like a towel bomb went off. Now I open the door and see 12 towels standing at attention like little soldiers ready for duty. My wife thinks I've turned into some kind of OCD sock folder but honestly I'll take that over digging through a pile every morning. So yeah the method works but I still refuse to fold my underwear that way because that's where I DRAW the line.
