Swapped from animal folds to geometric folds for gift towels and never going back
I spent like 3 Christmases doing those cute little elephant and bunny towel folds for gifts, you know the ones where you roll the ears just right. But last month my sister-in-law took one look at the bunny and just set it aside without even smiling. So I tried a simple diamond pocket fold from a YouTube video by a hotel housekeeper (45 seconds long) and wrapped a bath bomb inside. She actually asked me to show her how I did it. Has anyone else found that simpler folds get way more reaction than the animal ones?

Changed my mind completely on this actually. I used to be all about those fancy swan folds and thought simple ones were just lazy. But last year I folded a whole stack of towels into basic triangles with a little ribbon and people kept picking them up and complimenting them. The animal ones just sit there looking dusty after a day or two.
