Stumbled on a towel folding demo at a tiny state fair in Vermont

I was at the Addison County Fair last Saturday killing time between pie contests and saw this older lady showing people how to fold towels into little animal shapes, like towel origami almost. She did a swan and a bear head in under 2 minutes flat, which honestly blew my mind because I can barely get a rectangle right. Has anyone here tried making those animal folds for a guest bathroom, and do they actually hold up after someone uses the towel?

And here I was thinking the real trick is keeping guests from just balling them up anyway.
